Charlie Haden and Kenny Barron - Night and the City

If one didn't already know that this was a live recording at New York's Iridium Jazz club,
you might be inclined to mistake this for a work done in a recording studio. This slate
of jazz ballads is superbly performed. Haden's relaxed bass playing and Barron's lyrical
pianism combine to make for an interesting mix that is very much worth checking out.
