Civil Twilight (2010)

Playing the disc my daughter bought today....

Their influences are pretty obvious - U2, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead.
Nothing here is what I would call new, but when they put some
originality into the songwriting like "Letters From The Sky", the results
are damn near amazing. Overall a 3/5, "Letters From The Sky" 5/5.

Even though the band was still going by the name The Small Faces when
this album was cut this really is the debut album of the Faces. Steve Marriott
had left the band, and Rod Stewart and Ron Wood were brought in. Together
they created some great rock & roll. One of my favorite rock bands of the early
1970s.
