Counting among her influences artists as diverse as Patty Griffin, Sade, and Portishead, Meiko has managed to create songs of sweet disquiet that are all her own. Tommy James and the Shondells
Travilin'

LP
The TRAVELIN' album was considered by many to be Tommy James and the Shondells' finest work.
It would also be the last album Tommy and the group would record together

Richard Thompson - RT: The Life and Music of Richard Thompson (Disc 2)

I'm loving this box set, mostly acoustic live cuts.

Don't know how much of an RT fan you are, but, if you're really into his acoustic side, I'd suggest 'Celtschmerz' (available through his website). Also, 'Small Town Romance gets a bit of a bashing in most write ups, but that record really grew on me over time. The re-issue with the extra tracks is a very definite improvement over the original.

I'm playing the incredible Cynic- Traced in Air.

Modern progressive/technical metal at it's best. What a great combination of chops and emotion!

Mike, a very big fan, for a long time. I have eleven albums of his solo material but neither of the two that you suggested. Thanks.
