I picked up the new Green Day release because I liked American Idiot and my initial reaction is...uuhhh...its OK, but...it tries a little too hard with the "Rock Opera" theme and isn't nearly as good as American Idiot, imo...maybe it will grow on me :dunno:

Green Day, 21st Century Breakdown

Peter Murphy - Deep  (Newly Acquired Old Vinyl)

This is much better than I remembered hearing on the radio when it came out, should have bought it back then.

Medeski, Scofield, Martin and Wood - Out Louder

I was luke-warm on this one initially, and barely listened to it for ages.  But it has really grown on me recently.

Tosca - No Hassle

Just got this in today and am only half way through, but OH MAN is this ever good! I'm a huge fan of "Suzuki" and listen to it regularly, but this gives it a serious run for the money. They even have a bluesy sound on some tunes for the first time (Birthday). Excellent sonics as I expected from this band. Robin called this one perfectly! Good stuff!
