Can't say I am a big fan of Sadao, and this double album doesn't bring me any closer to his stuff. I liked the second disc better, thought it had more variety and held my interest 60% of the time. Overall I felt too much of a sameness to most of the tracks.

She has been billed as an Avante garde jazz vocalist

all I know is that she can carry a tune and laugh after. Plus she is backed by some very serious musicians. Very enjoyable for the more adventurous, the anti Diana Krall.

Ustad Ali Akbar Khan (AMMP); Music, Spain & Goya (AIC), a corsortium of Spanish composers put together on a CD for a Goya event at the Philadelphia Art Museum that I heard playing and purchased in the gift shop. You had to be there/here.
