Robert Gordon: It's Now or Never w/Chris Spedding (2007)Elvis Presley lives on thru the voice of Robert Gordon, listen hereCheers,Robin
Robert Gordon's got such a great voice and he's always been smart enough to pair it with incredible guitarists - Link Wray, Danny Gatton & Chris Spedding. For me this is Danny Gatton at his best, just playing his heart out as a side musician. All the incredible technique actually helping the songs, rather than coming across as showboating. Jim C

"Aparani Par" and "Zada Es" not only fill out the album—they give it depth, nuance, and a unique character. This development is largely due to Vardan Grigoryan, who plays a series of Armenian woodwinds on these tracks. The narrow, often oriental sounds of the duduk and the shvi, wailing above the melody on "Aparani Par," are not easily forgotten. http://www.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=28615Sample here: http://www.emusic.com/album/Tigram-Hamasyan-Trio-New-Era-MP3-Download/11107978.htmlHis Space: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=97158473One sweet find Martin, thanks for posting. I don't know how this album got by me as it was easily assessable in my downloading engine search for this gendre. Just 1 more reason why this is the most important thread for me personally. Cheers,Robin
