Picked this up on recently released LP version. But sadly this so called "180g Audiophile Pressing" is a bit noisy for an Audiophile Pressing

Also, it is me? Or is this album sound compressed?

Great music and performance though.

I don't have the LP, I have the CD and it isn't compressed. Its a pretty good recording. That said, it doesn't have a lot of dynamic range (quiet to loud) because it is acoustic guitars, so there is limited range, and maybe even more limited by their style (lively). I don't notice any clipping artifacts but I haven't analyzed it digitally though.

I've had "audiophile pressings" that were noisey out of the box. Usually a good cleaning/vacuum does a lot to clear that up. I've heard it can come from the factory itself not being clean enough.
