I just bought and received the Remastered Deja Vu album from CSNY and the new CSNY Live at the Fillmore East 1969 LP.  Both sound great.  The 1969 album is from I believe one of their first if not the first concert of the newly formed group and their voices are better than ever.  I have seen them live in concert I believe 4  times.  I was a huge fan of them in the 1970's. Damn I am old.

The 1969 LP is both acoustic and electric.  It is a 2 LP set.

  Nice snag IGF    Thanks for the tip, may have to check that out. Saw them in Chicago late '69, had tickets for their show in '70 but Stills broke his arm if memory serves. Amazing harmony !

Arthur, you should definitely give it a listen.  It is so well mastered for a live album from that era.  It surely brings back great memories and it is great music.  They don't write music like this anymore.

I first heard about Mazzy Star from one of the audio review magazines I used to get. I rushed out and bought it, played about three songs and said "WTF is this?". A few weeks later I traded it back at the record store. Flash forward about a year and I heard this beautiful song at a bar my wife and I were at. I went up to the DJ and asked who was playing, he said Mazzy Star and showed me the CD cover. Yep, the same disc I hated earlier. I now treasure it and wouldn't think of selling it. Funny how music does that from time to time!

It is different music for sure.  I own 3 of their albums and a solo album of hers.  It would fit right in with some of the psychedelic music from the late 60's and early 70's.  I turn of the lights and veg out and listen.
