So Allmusic.com is no longer providing music samples for their album reviews. It used to be a great place to find new music. That blows.....

What happened to the sound clips/samples?
Unfortunately our data provider is no longer making the 30-second sound clips available to us.

It was a huge undertaking to rip the music clips from physical and digital sources, and then to host and deliver those clips (in multiple formats). They've determined that while the feature was appreciated, they could no longer support the business case of providing it as a product.

We understand that this was an important part of exploring and discovering music on the site and we're investigating other partnerships to try to bring the sound clips or streaming options back.

Second that. Was a great source, hopefully they'll find a way to bring it back. They had dropped the image selection access some time back, unless you set up an account with them I presume. I thought Azon had done the same thing since whenever I went to the MP3 format it took me to the "streamining" page. Seems, at least in some cases if you select the 'play' option it will play a sample rather than ask you to buy the cut.
