It's much more palatable for me than Well behaved Fish imo,,,, but I'm not turning my nose up to it. Cheers,Robin

Bassist Bryan Doherty's debut album opens with a bass groove vaguely reminiscent of something Jaco Pastorius might have done in Weather Report. Over the top of this, what sounds like a couple of horns (though there's only one sax player) lay out a thick melodic line that eventually moves into a groove. This is the pattern for much of the album -- grooves that build to full compositions that devolve back into grooves.
Wow, you start listening very early Robin!
Quote from: richidoo on 13 Nov 2008, 10:39 amWow, you start listening very early Robin! Wrong!!! It's actually late nite listening. If you don't belive me, ask Lonewolf. My bedtime ranges from 4am to 7am and I get up at noon,,, just like I did when I was a teenager. I worked 2nd shift for 35 years but I'm currently unemployed. I always considered staying up all night after getting out of work at 11pm just a part of enjoying the fruits of my labor. Today it's just a habit of mine,,, plus the fact everyone knows the music sounds the best from 1am to 7am. Cheers,Robin
