I should be getting them late next week.  Note that the bases are not installed yet.  Finish is walnut.

Very nice. The walnut looks really good. Who made them?

they look incredible, I'm so jealous!

BTW, what are those quasi line arrays with the woofers in the back of the room in that pic?

Those look sweet!  I bet the bass will be killer with four Adire Extremis drivers.

Tony let us know how they sound, and how they compare with your previous pair of walnut box speakers

Looking good.

As for the line arrays in the back.
Those are Lambda plus which use 4 XBL^2 8" subs a pair in each cabinet.
As per usual we had a fullrange driver crowd here and the larger speakers just over powered them with more sound as well as levels than they like

Lambda Plus are coming we are just waiting for the drivers to get in before you will see them online.Using a single plate amp to drive the twin 8" sub drivers in each cabinet.

Enjoy them Tony

Al, are the 8" XBL^2 drivers going to be available for other applications?

They should be here Friday.  Al had to remove 2 drivers to get them under the 150 pound Fedex weight limit.  The 2 drivers arrive today - hopefully they survived UPS....

What are you going to use to power them?  At one time you had an Ice amp, right?
