Hi All:

I am very interested in going down the SB2/3 route for my 2 channel listening.  My system does double duty for 2 channel as well as HT.  I would like to sell my Odyssey Etesian Preamp(passive) and use the SB2/3 with Analogue mods directly into my Odyssey Khartago amp.  However, since I would no longer have the Etesian(which had an HT bypass), I am trying to figure out how to use my system for watching movies/TV.  One solution might be a switching device(Niles?)  Another solution would be to have speaker wire coming out of the Khartago amp going to my Nightengale speakers and using this for 2 channel.  Then having another pair of speaker wire going out of my Marantz SR-7200 receiver and just use the receiver to drive all my speakers for movies/TV.  This option would just entail me having to manually switch the speaker wires at my L/R speakers depending on 2-channel or HT listening.  This option would also eliminate the need for a switching device, which is one less component in the signal path.

Can someone else in the same situation comment on possible solutions?

Currently, I am using a cheap Radio Shack push-button switch (Catalog # 15-1982), with no appreciable loss of fidelity (despite cheap construction).

I'm feeding both my SB2/Benchmark DAC1 and Yamaha RX-V1000 (with front channel pre-out) into the Rat Shack switch, with single output to my Sunfire Amp.  Very easy to switch between the two.

Still looking for a better quality solution though.
