For me, the 60's and early 70's caught The Boys in their prime and stride... 80's and 90's were as bloated and staggering as Garcia in the end.. but still, like any great meal at the end, you are left stuffed at the table sampling this and that before it is all gone....
Yah, I captured a few shows in the past that I was looking for, primarilly trying to snag shows that I know that I was at, whether remembered or not.
Didn't get 'em all though before the embargo limited things to 'streaming'.
(steaming stink, my attitude, but I can understand the 'intellectual property' thing, even though I *do* remember when Jerry said once the band played the music it belonged to the people...)
Ah well.
Now if I just had the genious and energy of my youth to figure out how to capture 'streaming' digitally.....
