We will soon be making a formal announcement on the XL series subs . . .  the same awesome performance of our current subwoofers, in  cabinets styled and finished to match the Sapphire XL.

IF you are someone who must have one of the current subwoofers, for instance to match one you already have, order ASAP . . .  when current cabinet inventory is sold, it will be too late!

As of 2/21/06 we are running quite low on the Titan cabinet . . .  the Force and Maestro cabinets are still coming in, and timing isn't quite as critical. Call or email for availability on any of the current subwoofer cabinets.

Mike, if I may clarify, are you saying that in the future all subwoofers will only be available in the new XL-style cabinets?  Sorry if I'm being obtuse.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike;

You got it . . . we have production orders of the XL series cabinets hopefully arriving in May. When the current stocks of cabinets are sold, we will not be bulding more in that style.

Any pics of what the larger XL subs will look like?  I think I've only seen one of the Force.

We shot pics about a week ago but I'm not thrilled with how they turned out. I will probably get someone to try to clean up the best one(s) and get them posted soon. The three subs look VERY similar, really a difference of size and a bit of proportion.

Mike
Are you changing the rest of your speakerline to match the subs also?
Thanks

Ryan:

We will soon be announcing an XL center. We will also be offering an in-wall version of the Sapphire XL . . .  making the line quite versatile.

The Titan cabinets are the only sub cabinets that are in very short supply. We have enough Maestro and Force cabinets coming in for the next few months.

Yes, we are working on some new designs, but not necessarily to replace existing models . . .  and too soon to say more.  Thanks for asking!

What about a custom finish?  Will you still offer that option?

Stryder:

Probably not . . .  the lead time would be very long and the cost would be substantially higher as our cabinet maker wants a set quantity per finish. We have considered occasionally ordering a batch of a different finish, say walnut or rosewood and offering them as a limited edition. That isn't likely to happen in the near future. What particular finish are you interested in?

Hmmm.  Well, I have been thinking about either Claro Walnut or Burled Walnut, or Cocobola or Crotch Mahogany.   :?

Your own Rose Walnut may be a fair compromise?  I'll take this offline.
