The problem with updating the web site is not that we need a computer whiz, we have one. But the "whiz" can only do what we create and ask him to do.
It is up to me mostly and Larry to come up with the verbage and photos, etc.
The new equipment faceplates only became available a short time ago, and I am still overloaded with routine mundate work, like designing new back labels for the big chassis for all itterations, getting a new U70 ready to go to the sheet metal bender for a prototype chassis (yup, its coming soon), making sure all the new complex PC cards I designed in between surgeries and recoveries are working as designed (they are, in spades, the first time around), paying bills, and filling your orders (they keep coming in at a very nice rate, thank you).
My fall episode with artery bypass surgeries on both legs (one at a time) and a very difficult recovery from the second surgery set me back a couple of months here. Now there is one more surgery scheduled for the end of March, an easy one in comparison, a hip joint replacement, after that I should be good as new and able to move a lot faster and without constant pain.
Anyway, please no gripes about having to mine the site with a pickaxe for the time being. The Inside AVA newsletter was the fastest way to get a bunch of new info up there for you, with easy to find links to a new .pdf price sheet too.
And duuuuuh, if you know how to use a telephone, when you call me at 651-330-9871 the chances are very very good I will be the one to pick up the phone directly, there is no electronic maze on our phones, I hate then and what I enjoy most about this business I have been doing for the past 40 years and will continue doing until they carry me out of here is talking to you on the phone and answering your questions, whether they are about our equipment or just helping you out with general advice.
Now, chill out and give us a chance.
