Sealed LCR plans ?

Timoxx:

Do you notice any better transient response on the sealed LCR?  I've always enjoyed the controlled tightness provided by sealed designs.  I've been curious to try a sealed design using the extremis.

Yeah i think it is a bit better now you mention it...

It seems a bit tighter with a little faster, more solid kick to it.

I tried my hardest to get within 5% of the recommended 9.5L recommended enclosure volume.  I had to guess what the cross overs and the magnets of the extremis would take up inside the enclosure. I think i added about 1 L to the final size for that.

Then i used that whole bag of poly wadding you get in the kit to stuff the woofer chamber full to the brim

Just wondering. Was i supposed to put any poly wadding in the mid/tweeter chamber?   I put a tiny bit in there up the back. Mostly to support the wires and stop them rattling around.
