ShinOBIWAN,

I'm very sorry, and somewhat embarassed.  I have a very good memory for faces, personality, etc, but lousy for names.  I remember the discussion we had well, but you are going to have to help me here.

Remember, if you are lucky (the alternatives are unthinkable!), you too will grow older and begin to lose your memory!!

Cheers,

Hugh

No problem Simon, I was only joking

Its Anthony BTW, the one who's mad about digital room compensation and FIR filters.

Returning to a more serious tone, would you be able to build and modify two AKSA 100N+ for balanced operation? I'm simply not technically adept enough to pull it off I feel. I've seen the results in the 'balanced' thread and here and since I run balanced equipment I'd really like to keep it that way because of the benefits it offers.

Also how would you go about implementing DC protection on an AKSA?

Also Hugh, one of your links is broken on the AKSA site:

http://www.aksaonline.com/discussion/discussion_reviews.html

Its on that page and is the 'AKSA/ AKSonics launch at the Melbourne Audio Club' link. I was interested in reading about the original launch of the AKSA so I dug around and came up with the actual URL:

http://home.vicnet.net.au/macinc/public_html/gm2001.htm#jul01

Hope that helps.
