Silver Iris Driver: 15 inch coaxial; 42 - 20,000 Hz; 96 dB/w/m; 8 ohms; Qts = 0.91; $139 w/crossover. I believe they are built by Eminence.
I live a two hour drive from Darrel, so I've met him a couple of times and heard his earlier prototypes. Will try to visit him and report back. The early impressions using a 27 inch wide baffle with 16 inch wings are quite favorable. As you might guess they can push alot of air.

The Mini Duet sounds like an interesting speaker, and I'd like to hear his tube amp too. Where is he located? Michigan isn't that far from me...

Darrel and his wife Diana work together restoring the many beautiful historic homes of Marshall, Michigan (at the intersection of I-69 and I-94, about an hour south of Lansing and 2 hours west of Detroit).
