Does anyone know what models offer this besides the P3A?

It uses RJ45 temination -- more wires than P3A.  I don't know if all of them are used or not.

Interestingly enough, Steve Nugents (Empirical Audio) I2S off Ramp uses an RJ45 to I2S cable.  His Off Ramp has the RJ45 jack.  He likes it because it locks the cable (jack) in.  If you are using or going to use the Off Ramp, I would think the RJ45 input would work GREAT.

Zero one has something similar that uses proprietory I2S cable between the transport and DAC.   Both of these DACs require the signal to ALREADY be upsampled to 24bit 192Khz to be accepted via I2S port.  Steve told me his only output at 96 KHz.

That could be.  I have only tried to upsample to 24/96 with Steve's.

The P3a is limited to that right now anyway.

The North Star (I believe) also requires a 24/192 upsampled stream being fed into its' i2s input.

The old Audio Alchemy stuff uses i2s - same connector as the P3a uses.
