At CES we will have the new HT8,these have been under wraps for a few months now and what a better time to put them on display than at CES.

During CES expect delays in emails from January 2-10

Here are the HT8 standing beside the RAW FR in Koa
The equipment we used was a
Superphon Revelation III Stereo Preamplifier
Audience Power Conditioner
Exodus Audio 180watt Hypex amp  Thanks to Kevin at DIY for a last minute AMP.
Exodus Cables
Then we ran the Slim Device Squeeze box Wireless very cool

Using the above we were hitting 93db in room with the HT8 plus
3 bass traps (R12 insulation bundles 1 in each corner)
5 Acoustic panels
2 behind the towers plus1 on each side wall then one on the back wall.

We had more damping and acoustical material in our room than most of what others but in 5-6 rooms all together.

Over all not shocking for me to hear what people had to say.
Made SVS walk around the room a few times. They sure thought that those green towers were sono tube subs under the cover. Sorry we do not sure subs! Not needed here

Never used one of these till CES and we had Kevin's room our room as well as the Adire room all running one from Dan's laptop which he had ripped all the CD's we were taking onto before we left.

With a retail of $300.00 est these boxs rule.

Amp well we have to thank Kevin a lot.
We had another brand (N) that was taken as well last minute we really wanted Dodd 50 watt mono blocks but Gary just could not make it happen.Too bad we talked about it at RMAF in October but just could not make it work.

Anyway after a listen to the (N) amps we removed them and replaced them with the small (joking) 180 Exodus amp.
What a under statement for a small amp.This change brought forward midrange and vocal octaves that were very compressed with the other amp.
Sure missed them tubes Gary!

Anyway in the end we had a great show along with a few more dealers for our products which we are happy about.

Was nice to talk to Dick Olsher and he was shocked at with the performance that XBL^2 motors can bring out from such a small speaker.

Along with the HT8 Dick was as well stunned at the performance from the HT8 both in the vocals as well as the thunderous bass taht come from that size of speaker
