Group buy is an extremely small discount (I think only $10) and not really worth it...

They extended the $100 off two units deal and are offering free shipping on orders placed before Christmas.

Is that $10 per unit or just $10 total for orders over 5?

I thought there also might be some economies for shipping if we had them shipped all to 1 place but now I see that shipping is included so that's a non-issue.

I picked one up from a friend today, he bought two and the other guy backed out, should be here in a couple days (shipping from Chicago).
Now I must resist the urge to have it upgraded/modded!

Don't fight it. Go with the flow. Modded is so much better and you have gear to hear the difference.

I talked with the guys at Slim. The qty 2 deal is only for SB3's, not 2's. If you want a 2, the best deal is to use 'thank you' in the promo code box. That gives you $20 off of even a single unit.

The SB3's are out of stock until after Christmas at least 10 days.

I'm going to get an SB2. Per Slim, the price is $249 firm and a few bucks off via a promo code. Now all I have to figure out is who I want to do the mods and do I go battery or AC.
