WTF i have a fellow AC'er in my backyard that's selling speakers and i didn't know about this sooner? WTF? Man i was picked up a set of speakers. SOB, shit! man........... if anything i've gotta check out these speakers! GOOD LUCK! and any discounts for canadian brethern?

The Apex are in pressed board not MDF.
3/4" with twin front layers.

We are now adding our Demo pair of HT3 in a high Figured Maple to the sale list.
Price $899.99 for the HT3 demo pair.
These have Solen parts in them before we made the change to Sonicap capacitors and Mills resistors.

We know at this price they will go very quick.

Those on the demo HT3 list will be getting the Cherry pair with the updated stock parts we now use Sonicap,Mills.

How hard of a DIY job is replacement of caps/resistors? I would think it'd be a relatively simple job, but is it? Thanks.

A soldering iron and hot glue gun.And you are set for tools.
Just remove the crossovers and remove the caps and solder in the new caps and resistors.

We can help for some who would want to swap out the crossovers.

I've heard very good things about the HT3s and wouldn't mind jumping on them at this price (regardless of replacing the caps/resistors). I'm gettin' hitched soon, though, and don't know if I could swing these (or if my fiancee would like my buying yet more gear when we still have tuxes, flowers, etc. to buy!). If I don't buy them, someone is getting a smokin' deal, especially since they could probably sell them for the same price as what they bought them for.

Yes a good deal for sure.
I will say in all the Maple we have ever used we have never seen any with this much exotic figure.

Here is a HT package we offer with the HT3 and the HT2C.Shows a little closer photo of the HT3 pair we are talking about.

Any cosmetic issues with the demo HT3's? If you don't already have them back, are they going to you first for inspection or being shipped directly from the last on the demo list?

Yes Proto type cabinets made from pressed board not MDF.
All the driver holes are not flush mounted.

Have close look at the photo at the top the cabinets we are talking about one is on the right of that photo.

Very good condition.
