Levi,
The Herbie's work well (I own them). But, before you go and spend $7.95 a pop on Herbie's...try a mortite 'hat' on your tubes.
Flatten a dime sized piece of Mortite Rope Caulk (or Dennis Rope Caulk...available thru Ace Hardware dealers) and place on top of tube, flatten it gently to tube....and allow the tip to poke thru.
It works great on the small 12ax7's and 6922's I have...dampens microphonis to a point of non-concern. And, it's cheap - maybe $8.00 a package (that'll do probably 10,000 tubes

). I haven't used them on larger (and hotter) amp tubes...but they are great on the smaller ones.
I use the Herbies WITH the mortite 'hats' (yarmulke, if you like

)
Do not use Plast-i-Clay on them - it will melt. But, rope caulk will not and hasn't in over 3 years using it.
Enjoy.
