away over Thanksgiving weekend.

The world is not as good a place today as it was last week.

Bummer.  Bob was good friend and I really enjoyed his "Crumpfest" at CES each year.  He even gave me some tips for modding one Parasound amp.  We will miss him at Empirical Audio.

Very sad news. I agree with Rob that the world is a bit worse off with his passing.
