man, i got mine from them earlier this year, luckily i paid $100. Man, even at $200, it's a good deal, but those MF'ers have a lot of nerve.

Hey Chairguy,

They must of upped the price because I called about 3-4 weeks ago and they had the same two and quoted me $99. That's not good!! I begged off because I didn't want to spring for a pre-amp right now.

I ended up getting another one and had Vinnie mod it. My quest for a great amp at a good price is officially over.

damn, i have a VR modded one, but it was before RWA, it still has a power cord!

as far as a replacement goes, i dont think that teac has anything lined up to fill the gap. so once the al700p's are gone, they're GONE

I have two of these amps which are virtually unused - all original packaging. I will sell the pair for $200 + shipping.

no david, not at all, cuz i've got another one coming :p same mods as hte one i sold you. i dont know wtf's wrong with me, but i'm like a teac pimp. but i should keep that one for a longer time. I'm gonna use both to biamp my tannoy d100's
