Looks good.  I see now why the stand alone TEAC amp's case is so big (for the amount of stuff inside).  It looks like basically the same enclosure as that one.  Did the mods make a sonic difference?

Cascais, huh?  Nice place, very pretty.  Visited there years ago.

It is still in Germany, to replace some stuff, I dont know what, but they modify the Clari-T and the PSone, so I asked for the same mods, whatever they are...

The guys say standard it was noisy, but it is sounding good already, I will have to wait a little longer for the lot, getting their speakers as well, Schallwand Sangreal...

Yes, I miss Cascais too, now I am living in Riga, Latvia...  :(

They are not replacing any chips, just doind the dampening stuff, so I wonder if any of you guys that removed one of the Tripath boards, could sell it to me...  :?:

That way I could have some caps replaced on the extra board...  :thumb:

A generous fellow member did send me an extra Tripath board...  :thumb:

Meanwhile I got my speakers and TEAC, plus all the tweaks, see here (click on the pics for details):

The transformer hasnt arrived yet from Eslovenia, still the system improved a lot, particularly with the B&W PV1 subwoofer, it is fantastic, 500 ICE watts, looks great, integrates very well with my open box speakers, both have no box colouration, very fast, dry bass...  :thumb:
