Anyone Certain about the Flying Mole Input Impedance?

I have read in some reviews of the Moles that the input impedance is 100kohm (supposedly it was increased from 10kohm early on in production to make them sound better), but the owners manual I received with them lists the input impedance as 4.7kohm. Anyone know the real value? I have emailed the company in Japan, but I'm not sure if they'll respond. This is of course critical, since I can replace the 10uf input coupling cap with a 1uf metallized polypropylene one if it is 100kohm, but not if it is 4.7 kohm.  Anything much bigger than a 1uf won't fit in the case. I could always go to a Black Gate 10uf, but I really wanted to go further than that. Any help is appreciated.

I doubt it's 4.7k....that's pretty low for a power amp input impedance.

The best way to know for sure would be to measure it.  I can help you out with a procedure if you like.

Cheers,

Davey.

Even better, on their website

they list the input impedance for this model as 10 ohms!! Everywhere I look I get a new number!
Davey, if you could help with a procedure I would appreciate it - I'm kind of new at this.

I've Decided to go with Black Gates

Since I have found values on the web from 10 ohms to 100kohms for the input impedance of the Flying Moles, I figure it's best just to go with the manufacturer's value for the input coupling cap, 10uF, and replace the standard ones with Black Gates. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for your help.
