I see that there are a number of variations on the HT1, and HT3, using the WR125, a ribbon tweeter, and the Extremis woofer.

Anyone play around with an FR125 running from 140 and up, and that same Extremis running the 140 and down?  Basically an HT3, but with just the FR doing mids and highs.

Just an idea, since I already own the FR's... and am looking for the best way to use them, and am willing to incorporate some more drivers - in fact, I would even consider adding sub amps to the Extremis, and have a tower with built in Extremis subs.

Something like that cross anyone's mind or desk out there?

HTFR is coming.

Using the same cabinet as the HT3
-Less the tweeter
- remove the WR and put in a FR
-a single side firing Extremis.

Tuning will be the same as the HT3 just less the ribbon.

Designed for the line intro before the HT3 and we will have another after the HT3.
This other model after the HT3 will be released around Christmas!
As well one will be only available only as a finished speaker no kits will be available for it.
As the cabinet is very complex as well as the parts.
A cabinet braced every 6 inches
Using a TL format in the upper compartment (sealed)as well as a lower compartment TL ported.
