4B SST faceplate change

What is the difference with C-Series vs. SST?

....as i understand it, it is purelly cosmetic to the faceplate, the changes from the SST non C
are:

i) a 'milled' logo in faceplate
ii) no allen-bolts on front of handles of 19" er
iii) no rack mount holes on face of 19"....although it appears there are rack mount ears
behind the faceplate
iv) maybe the groove across front is machined differently now

That looks superb! Even better than the pics on the Bryston website. I'm quite tempted to get one to replace my black 17" plate.

Is the silver 17" C series faceplate available direct from Bryston ? I live over the pond in the UK.

I am interested in one for a 4B SST and BP25 .

It would probably be better to order it through PMC in case there are issues with fitting it. The membrane power switch has to be removed very carefully.

Andy Wilson of PMC just told me the faceplate change involves getting inside the amplifier so it's needs to be done by him. Fitting would be £58.75 inc VAT.

Did he give you any idea of the cost of the actual faceplate in sterling ?

He didn't know the exact pricing but thought it was in the region of £350 which surely can't be right! I emailed him with James' quote but Andy hasn't got back to me yet.
