Well, first we gave away the CEO's amp...now we're giving away his speakers!:D

All of us at AV123 would like to sincerely thank those that contributed to our first  (and largest ever) charity raffle which rasied $10,000.00 for Hurricane Katrina victims and The Red Cross in less than 48 hours!  The response was overwhelming...the kindness, generosity, and sympathy this community has shown is nothing short of phenomenal.

That said, at the request of MANY of you (thank you for your PM's, emails, and phone calls), we have decided to step it up a notch and pull out ALL the stops...this will be one for the record books (and will allow us to send The ARC nearly $40,000 in relief funds).

As before, all proceeds will be sent to the American Red Cross  within 7 days of contest close.  Details are as follows...

300 TICKETS WILL BE OFFERED AT A COST OF $100.00 EACH.  PURCHASES MUST BE MADE ONLINE THROUGH AV123 HERE.

The profoundly lucky winner (can you sense the envy? :)) of this contest will receive...

BRAND NEW Epiphany Audio  12-12 Line-Source Loudspeaker System (Value = $15,000.00) - This award-winning (The Absolute Sound's Editor's Choice) loudspeaker system is truly one of the best in the world - cost no object.  Featuring a 162 lb. cabinet (each) nearly 6 ft. tall, the 12-12 uses (12) exotic custom-designed mid-woofers coupled to (12) dispersion controlled planar-magnetic (fully custom) ribbon tweeters to create one of the most enveloping, dramatic, and "real" musical presentations possible...without a ticket ;).  The winner of this system will also have his or her choice of (4) hand-seamed real wood veneers...Birdseye Maple, South American Rosewood, African Macassar Ebony, or Dark Walnut.  Speakers will arrive at your door by freight-service fully crated and ready to rock.

Once again...from all of us at AV123, we'd like to offer our sincerest thanks to ALL for your kindness, sympathy and TRULY overwhelming generosity.

Good luck!

Bumping this because the raffle sales end tomorrow (according to a new post on AV123's forum) and there are fewer than 40 left.  Buy now for a good cause.

No way man!  MORE TALL SPEAKERS!!!  :thumb:

Actually I think my wife would kick my ass if I did win 'em when I told her about the tax bill we'd have to pay.

On the Epiphany winner, I recently spoke with him and while it is not my place to post any details, he had a serious personal item to deal with at the same time he won so even though it is an amazing prize, 'life' was the priority at the time. He should be taking delivery in the next two weeks or so...
