The more corners you treat, the flatter and tighter the low end will be. It's as simple as that.

When you have a suspended grid ceiling with an air space above, the real wall-ceiling corner is above the grid. So that's a great place to stuff with fluffy fiberglass because it doesn't have to be made to look good and, if thick enough, it's very effective.
