FryKleaner Dc-in to roatary selector wiring

The rotary selector has 12 numbered outer tabs  and 3 center tabs (A, B, C).

In the wiring directions, there are two rotary selector drawings - one gets the dc-in connection to a center tab w/ 3 outer tabs wired together going to 'V".

The other shows the selector base going to "S" while the outer tabs go to "Off", L, M, N.

Which 3 tabs get wired together and connect to "V"?

Do the dc-in and "S" conections go to any particular two of the three center tabs.

And do all the ground connections throughout the box get connected to any central grounding spot on the main PCB or dc-in?

It doesn't matter which section of the rotary switch you use for each function.  The A center pole corresponds to 1234, B to 5678, and C to 9101112.

Due to the final rotation of the part when mounted, I find it easiest to put H=12, M=11, L=10, S=C.  Then V=B, DCIN=6=7=8.

Ok, the labeling is confusing.  I admit it.  All grounds on board are same.  All grounds in unit are same, you can use any ground on PCB for wiring connectors.  A little hum means nothing.  Do NOT use audiophile components.  Use CHEAP wire.  Distortion and noise are our friends.  The FryKleaner is the opposite of good sound.  It has a job to do, and that is NOT to make nice music.

Aaaah, now the internal picture you have on your website makes sense.

Very cool.

Thanks

Hi Jim,

The PSA-11R-150  15V/0.67A AC adapter for the FryKleaner ships without the needed interchangable USA market AC plug - Mouser part # 552-RPA.

Just a head's up for future builders.

Oh my.  I'll have to fix the parts list.  Was looking for a quick alternative to the original supply.  Obviously didn't check it out too carefully...

No biggy, the USA AC plug adapter is only $0.56

BTW, I had a lot of fun assembling the kit. My fine soldering skills got a lot better between beginning and end.
