Wayne,

Thanks for stopping by to take a listen to the Omega speakers. The Bela Fleck you heard was playing through a Super 3 speaker.

Thanks again,
Louis

The best time I had was meeting all the people I have corresponded with. Ernest and I have very similar tastes in music and someday I hope to turn him away from the dark side of digital and into the light of analog :D

I really wish we lived closer to each other.  But I'd be broke and probably divorced soon after...  :)

Analog?  The only thing that will get me there is if I never find satisfaction in the digital world.  So far I haven't found it, but I'm not done trying (yet...).

These things are always about people to me....not the gear.

It was great to see the gang from 'Marblefest' again, but I really enjoyed  meeting the DAM crew. Jason was taking such great photos....it freed me to concentrate on other things....such as drinking. :D They're all just incredibly nice people.

I don't know what the style of that beer was...but I know it was mightly tasty. Thanks Marbles.

I agree totally on the people thing.

Marbles was extremely kind in bringing the beer all the way from his home town. It was very well made, but it was not an IPA :?  I would say it fits more into the Scotch Ale category. It was very malty, big bodied, and had lots of alcohol. An IPA should use more hops and be drier. Whatever style it is, it WAS very tasty and went down very quickly

It was made at the OB (Oyster Bar) Brewery in Fort Wayne, less than a mile from my house and just across from the strip club :-)

and your quite welcome, it was my pleasure, but next MAF, you guys are going to go broke buying me beer  8)

I have to say that the Mensa DI/O has made digital more relaxed than I expected.  Even bad recordings (e.g. Eurythmics, RS 40 Licks are enjoyable in my system now.

That being said, my dad has tons of old jazz records that I may end up trying someday...

I can only listen to the best digital recordings now that I have tasted vinyl..and I have the Mensa.

If you don't want to go analog, than DON'T TRY IT :-)

Isn't everything "just across from the strip club" for you, Marbles?

Well if you have to have a reference point, I can't think of a better one 8)
