I just got in the new Neo's.
They are 8 ohm units now. They also have something similar to the PDR technology on the front side only. This gives them a wider and more even off axis response. See front and back side views.

Output level is kept high just like the standard version as all 5 rows of Neo's are still in place.
The peak in the top end as been tamed as well and they have better extension than the older version. All looks good.
Now if I can just get those new woofers in. Learning XBL^ involved a learning curve. They are close to having the woofers to a point that will get them approved (by me). I think the next change or two that they are now implementing will get them where I want them to be.
Hang on, these are really going to be good, and kits will be made available to everyone that has been patiently waiting for them.

It is also true that there is a rather well know company out there that will be offering these fully assembled and ready to play in really nice finishes for ridiculously good prices.
