The best excuse yet for opening another bottle.

I'm wondering if the problems here at AC and AV123, that started about the same time, are mere coincidence.

I know it's been a menace to our main site and our e-mail server but I'm not sure if the worm that's going around is responsible for any of the forum issues.  My guess is that it could be.

We're doing all we can to make sure the forum and our website are fully operational.  Hang with us!  :)

I know you've probably been bugged to death with this question.

Hello Rod!

SOCS is currently available and has been available.  It will only grow as we are able to obtain and measure more speakers.  We will be featuring SOCS and a whole mess of info about it on our website in the near future.

RCS is still in the develpment stage.  There are several things still up in the air right now like what the best measurement technique is as well as the best logisitcal implementation of the measuring equipment will be (i.e. if the MMK will be used or if we'll sell physical hardware and software for measurement).

Greg,
If your server is running Windows 2K then most likely 99% you got the worm.

The forum was having issues due to the load...so many people were hitting it and downloading photos from the GTG, it crumbled.  We were working on moving it anyway we just have to move a little faster now :)

The issues with av123.com were indirectly related to the worm...the server was not infected but the pipe it is hosted on was saturated with garbage...

Greg, it looks like SOCS is up and kicking, how is RCS coming?

Thanks

They are working on a mic array for RCS.  Getting that right is the largest challenge now with all the other code stuff working :)
