Hi,
I'm having a hard time to figure out how to hang the panel 2'x4' (weight 12 lbs) on the ceiling. Could you please give me some suggestions?
thanks.

I'm getting ready to do the same thing. My plan is to use some "Z" type mounts.  I've already made a bunch out of 3/4" 1x4 mdf by ripping them at a 45 degree angle and hanging my wall panels that way.
But for the ceiling, I might order some Z clips from Monarch Metal and then use a little bit of glue or blue tack or something to make sure they don't slide off.  The monarch ones have more grab than the wood ones I cut which is why I may use them on the ceiling.

A lot of folks use a molly in the ceiling and mount a keyhole plate in the rear of the frame so they can slide it over the screw heads.  Nice and snug but easy to get down and it will mount pretty much flush.
