LC Audio DC mains filter

LC Audio DC mains filter

How effective is the LC Audio mains filter at removing transformer hum??
How difficult is it to use with other brands of gear and are other parts necessary.  The $37 price certainly makes it an attractive solution.

It is pretty simple.  A small PCB that you just place between the mains inlet and the transformer.  Often the transformer mechanical humming is caused by DC on the mains.  If DC is what is causing your problem the LC Audio unit will take care of it.
