Here's something you can do with that spare HagClock board you have laying around. Use it for a super-low noise regulator! Makes a great linear regulator for your various DIY audio projects.
I made one, +/-15V in, clean +/-10V out. Not a lot of output current available, maybe about 100mA. Enough for opamp linestages, phono preamps, crossovers, etc. Performance is WAY better than your typical 78xx type regulator.
I cut board in half (not necessary) right through the middle of D3. Then I changed R3 and R11 to 2.2k (for 10V output). There are holes on the board for both input and output wiring (test points for VCC, VEE, +5V, -5V). Nice and small, cheap.
