This system is my "pick of the week" for best speaker system under $4500.

I put one together for a client of mine and having heard many $5k plus systems, I have to say, this is a "clock cleaner". :mrgreen:

It consist of the following:

1 pair RM30 C = $3195 pr.
1 Megawoofer upgrade for RM30 = $380
1 215 SubWoofer with MegaWoofer - $649
1 1000w sub amp optimally tuned to the 215 sub/RM30C - $399
=================
Total Package = $4623 plus shipping

Not too many systems would have the overall FR, dynamic range, clarity, detail, soundstage and imaging that this system has for anywhere near the price.

And as most of you know, most of the VMPS dealers have "courtesy pricing" that makes this combo almost an unbeleivable bargain.

If this is set up correctly, with high quality electronics, it can't be beat for 2-3 times the price, if not more.

For extremely large rooms add a second sub.

Contact myself, Brian, or your favorite VMPS dealer or agent, if you have any questions

John: That's the same setup a client of mine has except he has the RM 30's with the 10's in them.  George said that "My speakers sound so good it's F****n Scary".  That is an exact quote.  I'm glad he's happy.

He just moved into his new custom built house last month and is preparing for the expense of making his room acoustics good.  When this is complete I suspect he's in for quite the treat.  He's had some reservations about the cost but once it's done I'm betting he'll wonder why he waited so long and the cost will be long forgotten.

So I know you're absolutely correct as I'm also not aware of anything that will sound so good at that price. (actually less after discounts)

Hey Warner,

Yes your friend has "GOT" to be absolutley freaking out.  Is his "front end" up for the task? or is that the next project?

In any event this is how that looks:

1 pair RM30 C = $3499 pr.
1 Megawoofer upgrade for RM30 = $380
1 215 SubWoofer with MegaWoofer - $649
1 1000w sub amp optimally tuned to the 215 sub/RM30C - $399
=================
Total Package = $4927 plus shipping

So it is still under $5k retail list and "courtesy price" is too low to quote. :mrgreen:

The 215 sub specifications list an 8 ohm impedance.  For clarification, doesn't the sub amp you are referencing run 512 watts @ 8 ohms?

Yes, for even greater clarification the amps actual power output looks like this:

Power output: 512 watts RMS @ 8 ohms, 1024 watts RMS @ 4 ohms

And I might further add that B, tunes the PR to the amp and not the amp to the sub.
