hello bill, you once mentioned that you had some replacement cones (spikes) for the 6 series usher speakers. what are they and how much do they cost?
what kind of improvements can i expect?

HI Marvin,
  I answered you email but will also post here for others to read.

 I was originally going to go with the Star Sound Audio Point but the thread of the Usher speakers does not allow this. The Ushers use a unique thread that is not available in the Audio Points line. Any of the less expensive units you would be able to buy would be no better than the originals on the speakers which are not all that bad.
