Sonic Differences between the Khartago and the Stratos?

Has anyone compared the two?
I don't think I need the extra power the Stratos has over the Khartago as my speakers are fairly efficient and I don't push them very hard.

hey, double j the khartago is an award winning design as is the stratos. i owned a pair of khartago monos with the plitron transformer upgrade and they sounded wonderful. i moved up the ladder to the mono extremes not because i was dissatisfied with the khartago monos. i could afford to upgrade and my speakers were rated for it so i just went for it. in my experience all odyssey amplifiers have the same sonic signature they are all based on the symphonic line rg 11 power amplifier. the higher up the ladder you go you just get more of a good thing. if you feel that you dont need that much power at this time get the khartago and if you feel the need for more power later on you could ship it back to klaus buy another khartago and have both converted to mono free of charge. klaus has so many options the sky is the limit! good luck in your audio journey........after some thought i think you should get khartago monos with plitron upgrades 150 wpc. 100 amps current .120.000 uf capacitance right out of the gate. you would save on shipping charges!

Detail, microdynamics, textures, work load, attack are come of the improvements with Khartago 120 or biggers, but Khartago/Cyclops with Plitron upgrade sound really really good, the Plitron transformer is a very good upgrade.
