Do you cover fiberglass with anything beside burlap?

Ethan,
I thought the bass trap will take care of it .  I now have two 4" thick bass traps in the two corners in front of speaker  and foam bass trap (I will build 2 more 4" bass trap to replace it) in the corner behind speaker.

Since the room is small, so that's much can move around. Can probaly move a chair up a bit , but only 1ft more won't make difference , i think.

So,  are you suggesting that i put 4" panels on the rear wall (behind my seat) too or 2" panel will do?  Do i need to cover the whole rear wall?

thanks.

For the reflection points, 1" spaced off 1" will be just fine.  I think that would be a better option for you - then you could use the 2" you have now for the reflection point and double it up in the corners to give you 4" there - much more effective.

Michael,

The thicker the panels, the lower in frequency they absorb to. And by extension, the lower in frequency they solve problems to. It's as simple as that.
