Sounds like a match made in heaven.  If you read all the reviews, it seems the two would compliment each other perfectly.  I just love products that go off the scale in performance VS: cost, and these two sure do that. When there is synergy between the two, it more than equals the sum, and is'nt that what this hobby is all about? Also, if it does'nt work, you have the luxury of selling these giant killers for close to what you paid.

I currently have a modded EE Pre-amp with an EE CDP both with upgraded NOS tubes that I have been using with a EE tube amp and Channel Island VBM1 monoblocks.  Recently I purchased a Teac which will soon be going to Vinnie for upgrades including battery supply.  I will be anxious to compare the Teac with the CI and EE amps with Galante Rhapsodys.  During the warmer months, I have been using the CI amps and they are a wonderful match with the EE preamp.

I suspect the Vinnie modded Teac and the EE modded preamp will prove to be an awesome combination.
