In response to the post below,
 
When the line voltage of the B100 drops below a certain level, (too low for proper power supply regulation),
it will shut itself down. 
This is done intentionally to prevent brown-out effects like software lock-up etc, 
and even premature failure of some electronic components.
 
The only way to recover from a brown-out is unplugging the power cord.
