DIY box for Rythmik 15” subwoofer kit

I am building another Rythmik servo sub for my HT room. Previously I have built a Rythmik single 15” sealed. A Rythmik dual opposed 15” sealed and now another single. This one however is different due to tight space constraints. I wont be able to follow the box plans on Rythmiks custom build page. The sub will have to fit between the side of the couch and the wall. Only 15” exist there. The sub will side fire toward the couch. So the box will be 13” wide, 21” deep and 28” tall. I will incorporate plenty of internal bracing but my question is should I place the sub toward the bottom of the baffle, right in the middle or toward the top? Im leaning toward the bottom to get the weight closer to the floor and maybe reduce the arm or leverage the moving cone has on box resonance. Anyone have any other insights??

Hmmm... yeah, the bottom, for sure. However, your space constraints may adversely affect the sound. Instead, give this sub some room to breathe and hang it from the freakin' ceiling.

Started cutting braces and sketching out a box with the woofer toward the bottom.

The HX1000 plate amp has a large power supply so it will have to mount on the side and be toward the top of the enclosure so it doesn't hit the driver.

The Driver basket mounting depth is basically 1/2” so I cut a hole in a half in thick sheet of MDF and then glued that to a 3/4” sheet for a baffle so the driver is flush mounted.
