Fun with Linaeum LX-8 speakers and dspNexus

Have a pair of the Lineaum tweeter Optimus LX-8 speakers I found on Radio Shack clearance.  It is very good and was $50 on clearance.

Have the dspNexus 2/8 setup with a FOSI ZA-3 Class D amp and sounds very good with Qobuz streaming from the PC.

Fun rediscovering old speakers that hit well above what people would think.  :)

I owned a pair many years ago. They had some very good qualities, particularly the top end. With good eq they could be very nice!

Having the ability to EQ them with great sounding DSP is a big plus for a lot of speaker systems.

Then having the capability to do room measurements ad EQ them really makes the system sound great.  :)

I bought 4 of the LX-4s when Radio Shack closed them out. This model paired the Lineaum tweeter with a 4" kevlar woofer. I then performed the Dick Olsher mods to the crossovers. I was able to feed them with over 100 watts and they not only sounded good, but filled a small room surprisingly well. I still have them, but haven't hooked them up in years.
