Well dont look like anybody has messed with this.  I turned on the DLNA renderer service and Jplay see's the BDP but when I try to stream to it errors out.  Any you tinker toy peeps interested in getting going on this?  The interface on jplay looks really nice and could be a way to extend BDPs/MM into the future.

Hmmmm, this looks intriguing. It might be worth a try given that Jplay can be had on a 14-day free trial.

Hi James,

Whats the configuration on you BR20?

I have jplay on a ipad and it displays the BDP Pi as output device.  I have DLNA enabled. Is there other settings I should be aware of?

I am doing the Trial now.  Jplay sees my TV, my HT receiver, 2 old Sonos ZP90s and HQplayer on a Sonictransport i5 and my BDP Pi.  It plays to the Zp90s but is unstable.

This is not working for me today - Jplay had trouble even finding the BDP3 - then no audio out to the DAC and I had trouble getting MM to take control again after I shut down Jplay. Plus I see Jplay has put a folder and files on the BDP. So I think this software is a no-go for me.

I have tried every setting in MM services and all I get is errors from Jplay.

According to the Jplay website the BR20 and the BDA 3.14 are Jplay certified.  No mention of the BDP series.  What be the diff in MM?

James said he's been using a beta version of MM replacement OS3, so perhaps that will be compatible with Jplay.
