Years ago I had a pair of MMGs that are the ancestor of the LRS. I modded them with homemade stands that raised the speakers with a 2° forward tilt and I bypassed the fuses. Both cleared up the sound immensely. I never stopped playing with placement, which is one reason I sold them, I could never settle down with one solution. Not that the imaging was bad, it was that it was so good that any little change made improvements in one area, but traded off in another.. For fun look up the Rooze placement.

Hi Letitroll98, thanks for your advice. I understand your point about placement. I hope to keep mine because it sounds very differently from the traditional/cone speaker and I found it quieter outside the listening area

I'm using the Multi Risers which worked out really well.
You'll hear the improvement as soon as they're mounted.
Everything just sounds more "substantial" for lack of a better term.

Hi SteveFord, thanks for your info and shared experience. I'll see if I can pick an affordable one given my speaker is just the entry level, incomparable to 0.x/1.x.

Pair them dual sealed good subs and it just takes Maggie's to another level of enjoyment. I used dual Martin Logan subs with my 1.6's.
If you are dealing with brightness, place them so that the tweeters are not beaming to your ears.
Also, I do not know if there LRS has a jumper for the tweeter. If so, replace it with a watt mills 1.2 to 1.5 resistor. Or duelund carbon resistors. Do not use the sandcast resistors as the are a little rough sounding g.
Hi I.Greyhound Fan, thanks for your suggestions. My wife and I are both aged and probably may suffer a heart attack by the sub power. Having said that I liked pop so much decades ago

Steven, save your money and buy these stands off Amazon. Search for EZISE Universal TV Stand Legs for 35-75 inch LCD/LED/OLED TVs.
Each pair cost $29.89 You will need 2 pairs. They are very sturdy and will raise your LRS+ up 6.5"
To get the best sound out of them they need to be level vertical as well as horizontal. When seated in your LP your ears need to be just about in the center of the speaker.
I played with toe and found the best sound for me in my room was them firing straight ahead, tweeters inside with them spread far apart without losing center fill.
They can be placed very close to sidewalls.
Give them at least 3' from the front wall and 4' even better. Placing diffusion panels on front wall will increase their depth, bass, and soundstage.
To take them to the next level and do this simple crossover upgrade. No soldering just moving a few wires. Takes about 15 minutes a speaker.
Good luck,
Steve

Hi max190, thanks for the details about the DIYs which look very interesting to me.
I heard about the TV stand legs via YT but worried about the falling. I checked the look and it looks be able to keep the speaker firm. Would consider this.

About the placement, I found Maggie instruction recommended the setup more for AV and I am still trying different placement monthly. It's now about 2' from the front wall and 6" from the bookshelf on the sides. I have the tweeter inside and toed them in about 20 degree. Thanks for its light weight and I still can move it easily. Will give it a try with more distance behind and no toe-in. There are also books at the corner which I hope it does a bit of diffusion

The last part (mod) sounds easier and very attractive. I'll see if I can make it without risks. I'm in Australia and it'd be very difficult to find a professional to repair it.

Thank you all for your helps!
