Here in the USA, if you join the AMA for something like $50/year you're supposed to get Roadside Assistance.
The catch is you have to keep a credit card on file and register (and renew) up to 5 bikes each year.
They implemented that policy 3 years back and notified everyone via email.

Well, except for me.
They said my 2019 on-line application did not include my date of birth so they "didn't know if you were old enough to drive so we deleted you from the email list"!
I found this out after I needed a tow.
Towing company said contact the AMA, AMA said they couldn't add the bike to the policy and to contact the towing company.
So, I submitted a claim with the towing company ($842.21!) and filed a complaint with the State Attorney General's Office as they did not make a valid attempt to contact me regarding the action required to my membership.

On a brighter note, Progressive will let you add roadside assistance to a liability policy for $7 per bike per year.

Great news - I was so annoying the AMA came through for me.
They put that bike on my policy so it can be processed plus they even gave me 3 additional years of membership plus (I'm not sure what the plus means, I told them that wasn't necessary, I just wanted my claim to be processed).

I was told whoever handled my policy on the AMA side should NOT have refused to add my bike to the policy nor should they have failed to notify me of the need to do so.
