First off I would like to say this was the most difficult it’s ever been to create an account on a fourm lol. I feel like I’m part of a top-secret group now that not many people could get into. now I went to all this trouble because I’m trying to talk to some people that have bought the klipsch rf7iii crossover kits. I just wanna know what to expect. I have tinnitus and hyperacusis and I know the phase issues can worsen my symptoms and that’s why I kinda wanna get and try the kits. I wanna know does it tone down the high frequency at all just basically what am I to expect?

I have not heard that upgrad kit, but having owned a previous set of Klipsch (RP5000F) and now owning a set of Danny's speakers (NX-Studios), I'm certain the voicing will be much more to your liking. Way more even across the board while srill increasing detail levels. I'm sure it won't be as good as a proper GR Research speaker built from ground up like the NX3 Bravo, but it'll be much improved from your current Klipsch. Knowing some basic soldering and how to follow simple directions, you'll be able to sort this build out. Plus this community is super helpful with answering questions to help along. If you decide to pull the trigger on the upgrade, please make a build thread so we can all follow along and answer any questions.

You could improve the internal stuffing, which in the RF7III is very basic (cheap black foam, time life 10 to 15 years in my experience).

What internal stuffing you have now ?
Do you can remove the woofers and post photos on your RF7 internal acoustic treatment ?

I have the internal stuffing that came with the speaker. And ya I can post update on my journey if I get his crossover kits. Anybody in these forums that has gotten the crossover kits for these speakers? I really want to pull the trigger actually but would feel even more willing to hear from actual accounts of people that have the kits?
